Parmesan Garlic Dinner Rolls
Makes 12 rolls
INGREDIENTS:
12 frozen dinner rolls (Terrell’s brand is best)
2 heaping tablespoons of garlic butter melted (chef shamy gourmet) found at Costco or Sams Club or plain melted butter with a little garlic powder.
1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Remove rolls from freezer and defrost slightly on a plate in microwave for 1 min. at 50% power, turn over and microwave an additional 1 min. at 50% power.
2-Combine cheese, garlic powder, and parsley on a plate.
3-Dip dough first in melted garlic butter then coat (all sides) in the cheese mixture. (If you run out of garlic butter just melt a little more.)
4-Arrange in a greased 9X13 inch cake pan. Spray a piece of saran wrap with cooking spray and place over the top of pan oil side down. Allow to rise on the counter for 4 ½ to 5 hours.
5-Cover pan loosely with a sheet of tin foil that has been sprayed with cooking oil, oil side down. Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 15 min. Remove foil and continue baking until they reach the desired brownness you like.
